We are pleased to invite your department to participate in the 7th International Conference on Planning in the Era of Uncertainty (ICPEU 2025), hosted online by the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Universitas Brawijaya, on 3–4 September 2025.

This year’s theme, "Navigating Uncertainty: Harmonising Formal and Informal Planning Approaches for a Resilient Future," calls for planning frameworks that are technically sound, socially grounded, and politically responsive to climate disruption, inequality, and governance challenges.

Building on the works of Vanessa Watson, Ananya Roy, and Oren Yiftachel, ICPEU 2025 highlights the integration of formal and informal planning to foster resilience, adaptive governance, and inclusive urbanism, especially in the Global South where informality prevails.

Submissions are welcome from a wide range of disciplines, including:
